Black Adder was riding through the infested streets of New York, striking down flying symbiotes left and right with skillful precision. The Our Lady of Saints Church lay ahead of them, and it was clear that building was under siege by hundreds of the Symbiotes. As they flew up to the tower, Adder could feel the huge number of innocent people that were locked and barricaded within- it would take hours for the SHIELD transports to get them all- but he knew he had to buy them time. As he stepped out into the bell tower, he was greeted by a harsh voice.
"Listen up, Bub! We gotta protect these people so they can get out of here. These aliens are attacking in basic waves, but it's getting hard to manage with me alone here. All the SHIELD back-up …Read more >
Die Scarfritcher hadn't been in New York for long- he had been told to rendevous with Black Cat, and that's exactly what he intended to do. The district these New Yorkers called "Queens" looked like a warzone; the buildings were in decay, fires spread across the streets and the sounds of chaos rung out above all others- gun shots, screaming, crying, car alarms. Die Scarfitcher rushed into a group of Symbiotes, tearing them apart with ease. In the distance, he could see the Kingpin's armed soldiers- he knew this Kingpin was a major criminal in New York. A group of them flew past him on gliders, heading towards a tower roof ahead. A better place to start his search, Die Scarfritcher had, and maybe he'd get the chance to tear some of the King…Read more >
Luke Cage and Bloodgush had been fighting these monsters for hours now, beating down Symbiotes left and right, but every time they tried to strike the giant symbiote pod, it shot tendrils forth, launching them away from it. Luke Cage tried one more charge, grabbing the tendril when it appeared in an attempt to uproot, but instead the writhing mass of symbiote tentacles that made up the pod uncurled, and a hulking Symbiote was revealed to be growing inside.
Trevor Cole...better known as the symbiote monster Riot. Riot roared, summoning more blue-colored symbiotes to his aide as he charged, knocking Cage into the wall behind him before turning to face Bloodgush...Read more >
Moon Knight's flying vehicle soared through the decaying streets of New York, dodging and weaving through infested hives that were once the city's famed skyscrapers. Sergeant South had an important meeting to gather SHIELD intelligence from someone at Tony Stark's personal tower. Stark, along with many other Avengers, were unaccounted for in this infestation. Moon Knight's vessel slowly landed on the Tower's landing pad, where dozens of SHIELD guards were already present to meet with the two heroes.
The SHIELD Agents were lead by a red headed woman who approached South and Moon Knight. "Sergeant South, I presume?" She addressed the hero. "I am the Black Widow- I've been stuck here trying to coordinate this mess from Stark's precious tower. …Read more >
Spider-Man swung down the infested streets, a million thoughts running through his head. All of this was his fault... everyone who died in this event...was blood on his hands. He could've told SHIELD or...or someone about what the Symbiotes really were, but no, Venom was "his problem". And now Mary Jane was in the hosptial, and everyone he has ever known was in danger. Spider-Man leapt atop a Gargoyle, pausing for a brief moment, before pulling out a cellphone, and dialing frantically.
"Baxter Building, Fantastic Four? This is Pete- I need Reed Richards!" he frantically yelled into the phone, but there was no one home to take the message. He tried to dial Tony Stark and Avenger's Mansion, with similar results. Giving up, he put the phone aw…
